Best Freelance Animator to walk the Earth!

I've always wondered what Loona from Helluva Boss would be like with younger Hellhound puppies. I imagined her as an older sister type—someone who might get annoyed by their antics and tease them, but deep down, she cares for them.

To explore this dynamic, I created a scene with Bertie, my Hellhound OC, interacting with Loona. In this scenario, she tells him a scary story while on night duty/babysitting him. To enhance the experience, I used audio from one of my favourite Spongebob Squarepants episodes, "Graveyard Shift."

I didn't plan much for my newest animation, so I just decided to follow the trend because of the algorithm making my impsona dance to this song. The original video can be found here. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/TaKcurZebjk

Being a leader is no easy task, especially for Branden MabGryphon, who has been assigned to a group of three with Sisco and Dacey for the annual Monster Hunt. He does his best to be very patient with his group, but sometimes they would do things that would test his patience.

Although I have only featured one out of two members of the group, I wanted to perfectly illustrate the group dynamic, especially, how Branden leads it. And what better way to demonstrate that, than by using an episode from Gravity Falls.

Audio from Gravity Falls S1E2 'The Legend of the Gobblewonker'

After feeling a sense of pride in my animatic, I decided to fully animate it. First, I drew out the characters' bodies and heads, then animated their mouths and eyes. I exported them as PNG sequences, uploaded them onto After Effects, timed them to match the audio, and added some After Effects magic including a little fire implosion. Finally, I rendered the video and voilà!

I want to share these animatics I posted on my other YouTube channel. It features the main cast of my original series, Lawful Chaos! I used these audios to explore a bit of their personalities.

For example, El, who has a fearsome reputation for being a sardonic, tough-as-nails bruiser, does not want to be depicted as some 1950s sitcom housewife.

I created a fan animatic that showcases my persona as a character from the show demonstrating to Jesse, a minor character from Helluva Boss, a cool trick performed by Bertie, his hellhound pup.

Disclaimer: This is not a political support or attack on Rishi Sunak. It's just a fun little animation I made for the past seven days that takes place during his general election speech in the rain when he should have been wearing a raincoat.

(Click image) I thought I'd try my hand at doing a 2D running animation featuring my own character, Branden MabGryphon. I might plan to add his cape one day when I find the time. Until then, watch him run (epically?).

The concept is derived from the premiere of Amazon Prime's new original, Hazbin Hotel, which features a Hell-based storyline. By contrast, I have inverted the paradigm to imagine a Heaven-based scenario and created two entirely original characters, Gabriel, the Archangel, and his son, Jonathan or Johnny (“Johnny B Good”). The characters and drawings (See image, below.) are my own. I have used these characters to populate a storyline using audio from Barnyard and adapted the original dialogue in the subtitles to match the new concept.
The reason that this work may look rough is that it's part of the process of doing 2D animation. The next part would then lead up to doing in-betweens (drawings between key poses) and then clean-up, which involves drawing over the rough drawing to make the images in the animations more appealing. These multiple images are what are known as frames and each second of animation can have 24 or 60 frames per second. My idea for this animation was to take intellectual property and flip it on its head to create a different perspective and story within the universe of that said intellectual property, to depict the denizens of Heaven as much as the heroes, as the denizens of Hell in the original show.

My first piece of animation featuring the Game Grumps, Arin and Danny, themselves.

In the spirit of the holiday season and as part of the AnimChallenge for this month, here is a piece of animation that I did.  It features a guy getting lost that night in a graveyard and he's about to get the surprise of his life!

Gonna love Tom Hanks! Especially when he is voiced or played two completely separate characters. One being a World War Two Marine and the other being a cowboy doll.

A homage to the classic antics of the world's famous cat-and-mouse duo, Tom and Jerry.

A much more original storyline to the duo.

My Final Major Project from my Master's.

The task of this project was to adapt an unadapted piece of written work, so I chose one particular piece: a short story by the late Terry Pratchett called Death and What Comes Next.

It tells a conversation between a philosopher and Death himself about the laws of the universe and who we are as a species. This, of course, annoys Death who only came to collect the philosopher's soul.

Albeit with some alterations from the original story.

Created and animated on Unreal Engine 5.

Something I worked on two weeks back in light of the upcoming TMNT movie and the recent Spiderverse movie. This scene is from the trailer for the film.

Animated in Maya.

Another animation I did that features the Ninja Turtles, but this time they are parodying the intro sequence from Avatar the Last Airbender.

3D animation was done in Maya, element effects was done in Adobe Animate (Flash) and composited in Adobe After Effects.
